My practice incorporates mindfulness techniques with western psychology to form a dynamic and eclectic approach to psychotherapy.

I work from a conviction that we are all basically good, but life's experiences and negative thought patterns have hidden this from us, making us feel anxious, insecure and depressed. I help clients challenge their beliefs about themselves and their world and teach them how to reconnect with their own resources through mindfulness practices, coping skills and interpersonal skills.

In couples work I help clients accept their partners for who they are and suspend their judgments about the relationship. Thus making space for something genuine to grow rather than forcing the relationship to conform to preconceived ideas.

I spent 10 years in The community Mental Health System in Vermont working as a crisis clinician, adult outpatient clinician and DBT group trainer. I have extensive experience with trauma, depression, ocd, anxiety and major mental illness.

I welcome all inquiries.
