My desire is to use moment by moment experience to help you achieve awareness and acceptance of difficult mind states. Using a spirit of non-judgement and friendliness, we explore each new “arrival”. My therapy practice is informed by my spiritual practice of Soto Zen Buddhism over the last 8 years. I utilize eastern thought and western psychology along with meditaton, mindfulness and voice dialog to help you achieve peace and clarity in your life. I am licensed and trained in the fields of substance abuse and domestic violence and have extensive experience with court involved and mandated treatment. I completed certification in Dialectical Behavior Training and Brief Therapy and have worked extensively with trauma issues, anxiety and depression. Several years of experience working with families and adolescents.
30 years in the human service field with the last 8 years as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I see the individual in the context of their family, culture and community.
Accept most insurance reimbursements, private pay and sliding fee scale.
