Jane PittengerAccompanying my clients on their journey toward being more fully who they are is my life's work. On my own journey, which has taken me from being a Nurse Midwife to becoming a Contemplative Psychotherapist in mid-life, I've assisted my clients as they give birth to themselves in all their authentic wholeness.

So often our lives are limited by our core beliefs -- beliefs that we hold unconsciously but that impact nearly every decision, every relationship, even every moment of our lives. These beliefs have often been formed by experiences in childhood, and their validity has never been consciously questioned.

Clients' work with me includes bringing these beliefs into present-moment awareness through mindful attention to body, thoughts and feelings. It is my job and privilege to create an environment that offers the safety, spaciousness, and compassion that invite such awareness to unfold.

With open awareness comes acceptance and -- as clients gain better access to their intuitive wisdom, strengths, aliveness, and open hearts -- transformation becomes possible.

-I am licensed as a Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, certified as a Hakomi Body Centered Psychotherapist, and trained in Internal Family Systems Therapy and Lifespan Integration Therapy.

-Insurance welcome

-Individual adults seeking help with life transition issues, depression, anxiety, resolving effects of abuse, relationships, grief, pregnancy/birth/parenting, personal growth, and self esteem can reach me by calling 541-338-8290 or at jpitt@oregonfast.net
