 I've been a licensed marriage, family, child, psychotherapist in southern California (Manhattan Beach) for 20 years. I was a special education teacher earlier and have always been drawn to working with children and families. I am certified in hypnotherapy, EMDR and play therapy.
My BA is in Philosophy and an interest in states of consciousness weaves throughout my adult life. In the last ten years that interest has been more focused to Vipassana buddhist practice and transpersonal psychology. At this stage in my life I want to shift my practice to the transpersonal and to clients who want to see their lives from this perspective. I am part of the awakening. My fees range from $65-$80/hour. My office hours are M-Th, with later evening appointments available on Wednesday. I am on the provider panel for Blue Cross of CA and ValueOptions. I am agreeable to a free initial consult in some cases. I am pleased to be a part of contemplative psychotherapy.
