Cindy BlackettI help people become aware of the parts of their lives that have been operating unconsciously. With more awareness comes an understanding of what lies beneath problems like depression, anxiety, addiction, or a general sense of unhappiness. This frees people to try new, more helpful ways of coping with painful situations and to relate to life in a more genuine, confident, and happy way.

I also practice and study Buddhist meditation in the Vipassana tradition and have come to see that love, joy, and compassion are basic features of consciousness. They are already within us, not something we have to create. They are what is left when avoidance, judgment, and fear fade away. I believe that it really is possible, in this life, in this relationship, to have a radical and liberating transformation in the way you relate to your partner, and to the world around you. My work is to help people make these kinds of changes, so they can come to know their true nature and find peace with themselves and each other.
